Founded in 1999 by Principles with over 40 years of deep investment management and compliance experience, Silver Oak marries RIA flexibility and innovation with the full suite of marketing, compliance and technology support characterized by large broker-dealers.
Billy Hopkins
A native of Tennessee, Billy Hopkins graduated with a Business Degree from Lambuth University and holds series 7, 24, 4, 66 & 53 and 66 professional licenses. Billy started Silver Oak Securities, Inc. in 1999, and has served as its President and CEO since inception. He’s passionate about the financial services industry and about the power of independent professionals to truly change their clients’ lives.
